I just finished creating a beautiful new tile bathroom countertop, with cut out for drop in sink. When I place the sink in the cut out, it wobbles just a bit, and I notice that the surface from one corner of the sink to the other its just a hair unlevel. Is there any special instructions for how to make sure the sink is properly secured and level when I have the plumber come hook it up? Can I shim beneath the sink where there is a slight gap (less than 1/8th on an inch)? Or is all of this something the plumber can handle.
Thanks, Paul

This is not unusual on tile countertops. If you are having a plumber put the sink and plumbing in, he should be able to deal with it. If you have an assortment of plastic and wood shims on hand, and show him in advance the out of level condition, he will be happy to avoid the last minute "surprise".
