I have a 4.5 HP lawn mower and just had the rip cord break near where it attaches at the engine. I have taken it apart but I am stumped on how to put it back together properly. Thanks

If you haven't taken the spring or pulley out,all you have to do is wind the spring all the way as far as it will go,let it turn back one complete revolution and slide the rope through the housing and hole in starter pulley and tie a knott in it.(burn it a little so the knott wont come lose)
