We are getting ready to tile the masterbath which would include tile around the whirlpool. My question is the whirlpool tub is 19 years old and if we were going to replace it now would be the time. We just bought the house and have been sinking a lot of money into it but I don't want to cut corners either. Would a new one help the resale value if we are only planning on being in this house 5 years? I don't think it works all that great and we will probably have to have some one come out and look at it anyway. Keep or replace?

Upgrading to new tub will help in the value on your house resale.
