Does the Rolled fibergalss insulation need to be removed from getting soaked in the rain when the roofers didnt properly cover the job when it began to rain? We're trying to dry out the room to asses the damage abut the cieling now gets wet after it begins to dry but the insulation in the ceiling above must be saturated. I dont want to leave it there if it should be removed-dont want to risk mold and mildew. Chime in Y'all!

It will not dry out in place. - Just toss it and get new.

As little as 1% moisture can cut the insulating value in half.
