:coffee: I recently started a Bolens 1250 Tractor with a Wis. S14D engine in it. The gentleman could not beleive me that he was getting spark even when he got a nice poke while holding the spark plug wire (while cranking of course). Long story short while I was solving fuel leaks in the carb and fuel pump he had someone else whom is self proclaimed wiring genius, now I,m stuck with this in my shop and I really stuck It has an SSI Generator Motor start basically battery iginition but haven't a clue of the wiring configuration There are 3 wires coming from the stator. 2 yellow with 1 haveing the engine overheat lead connected to it and then a black. The rest of the wires are all pieced together recently, I now that the wires have all been moved to different connections by remmembering from my first look. but I don't have a photogenic memory thats my downfall. Anyway Anyone have Clue? I'd really be grateful Thanks Wade's Small Engine Repair

Oh boy, it's been so long since I've worked on a wisconsin that I can't recall the first thing about the wiring. I don't think I have any literature pertaining to the wiring either. Check back in often, someone here is bound to know.

I appreciate your quick responce Cheese!! I've got Four Manuals and each has at least 4 different wiring diagrams. Just enough info to make ya pull the hair surrounding the bald apot on you head. Well I'll keep checking back, It's worth it wehn you get to see someone hold a plug wire and turn an engine over themselves!!::D
