Did you wind the spring back up? Was the spring in good shape and not broken?

Ive done lots of work on the springs and if its not binding up someplace then the spring isnt wound or its now wound enough. I did a 3.8hp techumseh and I wound it up and put it back together. Well I had to rip it apart again becuse it wasnt wound enough. This spring needs to be wound up alot more then you think, it will give your hands a workout. On my engine I had to wind it till it wouldnt turn no more.
