I have a question about a garden that I just put in a week ago.
The forecast last night was for a low temp. around 33-34 degrees, so I covered both the peppers and tomatos. Tonight the temp. is supossed to go down into the low 40's. My question is, should I cover the plants again tonight? if it's not necessary, I would hate to waste the time as it very time consuming..
I have always heard that the general rule is anytime frost is expected (around32) the plants should be covered. Any advice, appreciated.

Low to mid 40's shouldn't bother the plants, but even the slightest frost will kill the plants.
