i work at a hotel we have a 2 door cooler with the compressor and fan on the top of the unit i have 100v to the unit but the compressor will not come on and the fans don't either there is a knob thermostat when you turn it from left to right you can hear it click but nothing happens
what should i do next?

Go to the source for the electric. Determine what you have there, then look on the unit for the electric requirements.
100v sounds a little low. Like you should be on 220v and you lost a neutral. Have you checked the breakers?

you might not have enough voltage to run it look at the cooling motor it should have a label telling how many volts it needs to run it might say somthing like this
watts 300 volts 230 HZ 55 the label will have that printed on it look for that around the cooler and cooling unit a sevice tech might be able to convert it to run on standerd 110 houshold current

It is more than likely 240 or 3 phase. Check your power supply.
