I am still helping a friend with an upgrade. The new system is an Ademco Vista 20PS with a 5881 ENH receiver. He was told that the old 5700 series window transmitters and his old wireless PIRs are compatible with the new 5881 Receiver. (old system is a via 16) The old wireless window sensors and old wireless PIRs have dip switches. I read the 5881 manual several times and all it says is that the frequency is 345 Mhz. It does not list any compatible devices. Could the old window and PIRs really work with the new receiver?
Thanks

No, these transmitters are not compatible with the Vista-20P control, or the 5881 receiver. Device compatibilities are listed in the manual for the alarm control, the reciever is only an interface.
