I have an 18’ by 22” concrete slab that was poured 30 days ago - I’m currently building a workshop on it. The slab has two cut lines one running up the middle and one across the middle. I would like to caulk the lines so that I may eventually put an epoxy sealer on the floor. What can I use to partially fill the lines before caulking them, and what product to you recommend for caulking them?
Thank you,

Hellrazor,
Thanks. Is this product available at the Big Box stores or do I need to look someplace else?
Also, do you have a recommendation for caulking over the rod? I assume that I push the rod into the cuts and then caulk over.

any latex based exterior caulking will do make sure to stay down from the top of the concrete just a hair about 1 mm or 1/16 with the caulking this will prevent it from getting snagged on something and pulling right out, also cove the caulking so water will run right over it instead of sitting on top of it. The backer rod s usually abailable at most big box stores if you cant find it with the caulking look near the windows, and if its ot there just get the rolls of black foam that you use to replace screens with its the same stuff it works awesome, when putting the backer rod in use either an old pizza cutter or buy the tool that will be near the backer rod that looks like a pizza cutter it will make for a nice clean job.
