ok here are the problems 1 i don't know much about it 2 for some reason my heater will blow hot air but when i turn on my ac or fan the ac kixks on but there is no air coming from any vents went up to the roof and saw that with the heater the fan worked but with the ac the same fan wouldn't kick on so before i have to spend a ton of money on a new unit or on someone coming out to fix it i was wonder if there is something that i could do.
it is a central heating and air unit on top of my house and it is about 29 years old.
please if any ideas i would be very thankful

1st put the fan on/auto switch in the "on" position. Does the indoor blower come on ? If yes then replace the stat. If not then take the stat off the wall and jump out "R+G" does the fan come on then ? If yes replace the stat if no then the blower will need to be checked.
