Like an idiot, I trusted a label on a snow melting salt which said it was safe for concrete driveways. Well, Days later - my driveway looked like someone poured a light layer of gravel on top. Since, I have swept the loose chips off, but more chips occur daily. What can I do to prevent and repair this?

Prevention: Don't ever do it again
Repair: Remove all loose material with a 3,000 psi pressure washer, and overlay the whole thing using a product like Quikrete Resurfacer. Be warned of possible delamination of overlays, especially if prep instructions are not followed to a "T". Good luck.
Out of curiosity, how old was the concrete when the de-icing product was applied?
