I have a 20+ year old PJM rhododendron that has outgrown it's space in the garden. I have cut it back to the roots a couple of times in the past but now I want to move it.
Should I cut it back now(when it finishes blooming) or wait until fall? Can I split the root ball and transplant both pieces?

Hi Wayne,

Autumn is the best time to transplant them. Here's some helpful links.
