Anyone have any good Drought Resistant ground cover? There is a problem area in the back of my house. The 3' immediately against the back of my house gets very little rain due to a small overhang and the prevailing weather patterns.

The only thing that seems to want to grow there are weeds. Anyone have any good, spreading ground cover that will grow with limited water and good sun. The area has good soil, good sunlight, and is covered with a thin layer of mulch.

Thanks
Scott

Hi Scott,

Great info but your hardiness zone is missing so you'll have to check to see if these re appropriate in your zone. You'll still have to water to establish the plants. Some that come to mind would be:
Sedum - many sizes and varieties
Verbena - different heights, but look for a groundcover
Creeping thyme - several varieties and not overly aggressive.
