I am looking at a house that is close to 100 years old. the foundation is in good shape except for the coal cellar. the interior and 2 of the exterior walls are fine, But the front wall that is facing the street has a inward bow to it. it is pretty much at the middle both left and right and top to bottom. Although that is the worst point it does run about 8 feet or so across the middle. the worst brick in it all shows about a 3" bow in 6ft to level.
Question is:
Is this fixable by ancor? requires a engineer to come in and work a foundation rebuild? or i was reading about a kevlar application that can be applied to keep the wall where it is but does not restraighten th wall.
I know that this is most likely not a do it yourself project due to some of the items required. but i would like to get a good idea about what i am looking at and possible ways to rectify the isse if it is necessary.
