Roughtly how much more energy is saved when a 93% energy efficient gas furnace is used as opposed to a 91%? What is the major difference between a single stage opposed to a dual stage? Thanks!

The major difference in a single stage & a two stage furnace is comfort. The vast majority of the time, the two stage furnace will operate on low providing longer run times & more gentle heat. Most will only kick into high on demand from a setback thermostat or if the low fire won't keep up.
