My furnace has decided to quit working. I replaced the thermostat and it still is not heating. The pilot is lit but it doesn't seem to do anything else. don't know what else to do. It seems like no gas is getting into it to start it. When you adjust the thermostat you can here it click when it should be coming on but still no heat. Please help.

Did you make sure the power is turned back on?

Does the fan turn on when you switch the t-stat fan switch to ON?

Make sure the gas valve is turned ON.

If you have a meter, see if you got power going to the gas valve.

yeah look on or on the wall near the furnace for a light switch it should be in the up position this shuts power off to the blower so the furnace won't work.
