is this a big question or what?
i'm just wondering what goes into choosing a furnace, other than square footage
and after that what goes into designing the duct work?
i'm just looking for basic explanations, no need to sweat.
thanks,
max

The #1 thing for a good furnace is a good install.
A good dealer should be able to do a manual J (System sizing), and a manual D (Duct sizing). As long they do a good job on that, a furnace will do it's job.
