I would like to build a paver patio off the back of my house. My question is my yard slopes down about 18-20 inches over the 10 ft I would like the patio to cover. What do i do for the edges away from the house. I don't really want to build a retaining wall. I have seen raised patios that have edges that are the pavers. What is involved with that? Also I am considering building steps too. Is it possible to do that without mortar using the pavers also. THanks for all your help
