HELP?

I am trying to determine whether to use Trex or Timber Tech to build a two tier, 850 square foot deck. I am just not sure what the difference is between the two companies, they seem so similiar.

Suggestions would be appreciated!!

Other manufacturers are on the composite decking bandwagon. Check out ChoiceDek by Weyerhaeuser. Lowes carries it and it's less expensive than Trex and Timber Tech. In the case of engineered materials like composite decking I tend to trust companies with deep pockets for R&D.
Good luck!

I agree with El Senor Mouse - check out Choicedeck at Lowes and Veranda at HD....I wouldn't bother with Trex or Timbertech. Consumer Reports rated the big box brands as higher quality and lower cost than the two you are considering.
