How do I delete the old unknown master code and assign a new one? I was able to retrieve the Installers Code and get into programming mode, but then I got stuck. Also, the display shows a bF failure, which I understand is a Long Range Radio Failure( whatever that means). Can I disable that? The system is not monitored.

Seethis thread. (http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?t=260586) The Vista 15p and Vista-20p are electronically identical, one just has a few more bells and whistles turned on at the factory than the other.

Thanks for the help. That should get me a new master code, but what about the bF failure? Is that a feature that can be turned off?

Go into program and enter *29 0* exit with *99

This will make the system stop looking for the long range radio module that probably was never installed, but someone thought they had to turn on to activate the wireless receiver or a cell backup.
