Hi
I have a problem installing Ademco 6139 keypad to my vista 20 panel, I do not know if I did something wrong or the keypad is bad. I hook it up to the key bus, power it up, the keypad will light up, the ready and armed lights flash once and go back off and that’s it, no sound, and nothing in the display at all!
Thank you in advance.

If it's a vista 20p system, the keypad has to be set to a valid address. If it's an additional keypad beyond the first, it also has to be activated in system programming.

In that case, still check the keypad address. For this system, it should be in non-addressable mode (address 31). If you bought the keypad used, it may still have an address from a prior use.
Also, check your wiring carefully.
