We noticed the strangest thing on our interior wall this weekend. The paint looks like it is 'drooping' or 'melting' for lack of a better term. It begins at the cieling (18' up) (exterior of the chimney) and 'runs' down the wall about 2 feet. It is approximately 6 inches wide and resembles a large paint drip.
We have no idea what this could be from and are looking for input. We have had to repair some shingles on the roof as they were damaged in a wind storm, could this be from water damage? There is no sign of water damage on the cieling. Our home is about 4 years old. We are not sure what type of professional to call.
Thank you for your time!
