Help!! Last week a tile company installed granite tiles on our kitchen counter top - 100sq ft. The grout has long hairline cracks in it in many areas, and also large holes )the shape & size of the tip of a large straight edge screw driver) next to the edge of the tiles in many areas. Also many bubbles sporadically throughout the grout. It has already been sealed. The tile company wants to just fill in the grout holes with more grout. From what I have read online this is not the proper way to fix the problem. Some sites say that the grout needs to be taken out and redone. He is coming back tomorrow to "fix" the problem and I don't want a quick fix that will become a problem a year from now. What is the correct way for this company to fix this and what kind of warranty should I expect on their work? I need answers asap if you can help! Thanks, Joan

Get a one year warranty to cover yourself.
What is the grout joint size and did they use sanded or unsanded grout? What did they use to set the tile, thinset or mastic? What kind of base is under the tile?
