I had pre-finished oak hardwood installed last year and someone recommended I use the "swiffer wetjet" to clean/shine the floor. It worked fine the 1st few times but now seems to leave an annoying cloudy finish. Can someone recommend a clean and shine type of product for prefinished hardwood?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Bona make a good cleaner for that. They have one for hardwoods and laminates. Call around some flooring retailers or suppliers in your area.

Bona does come highly recommended as a floor cleaner. Use only cleaning products recommended specifically for polyurethane finish. Your complaint is not the first about the residue left by cleaning products that dull and soften finish.

At this point you may be getting build up. Or you could just be smearing dirt. Are you going one direction only or mopping back & forth? Try cleaning a small area, with a well rang out wash cloth and then immediately buff dry with a dry towel. :coffee:
