I have an engineered hardwood floor which was glued down over a plywood subfloor. Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to remove this hardwood? If it makes any difference, it is a relatively small area (5X6).

The easiest way is to remove the subfloor with it! Then replace and repair the subfloor.
You'll be lucky to keep from destroying the plywood subfloor, trying to remove just the hardwood.

:) Just a follow-up solution on this problem. We were able to use a crowbar and pry up the glued-down engineered flooring. Plywood subfloor suffered no damage from this. It took a little work, but not as drastic as cutting the subfloor out.
