I have a 26' X15' room and would like to know how many 5 3/4" X 1"X 6' board would take to cover them? The boards also cost .39 a linear inch could you please help me?

Also I have a large dog (Golden Retriever) What kind of wood would you suggest that I put this room in Oak or Walnut?

Do you have any suggestions for the wood so the pup doesn't ruin it ?

Are you serious?

This is basic math. Did you miss that day in school? :wall:

Convert the measurements in feet, into inches. Then divide the board size into the room size.

Pick any wood you want. That isn't what dogs scratch. It is the finish you choose that has to resist the scratching.

Prefinished Aluminum Oxide is about as tough a finish as you will get. Site finished, then Traffic would be the toughest available.
