Help Me! :-)
I have read somewhere that it is possible to take old photo's or painting / drawings your kids did or anything else you want (picture wise) and to place it on a kitchen counter top and laminate it. I am incredibly keen to photocopy old old ancient family photographs (black and white) and to laminate it onto the counter top. My kitchen is the old rustic theme anyway.
The question is, what do I use to achieve this, how do I do it? There has to be a way. It might not be the best counter top in terms of durability I'm sure, but I intend to chop my bread on a bread board and not on the counter top! :-)
Please can some one help me with this,
Ta

Doc: remember, what you put on the countertop will be there when you show it to potential buyers, should you decide to sell, and the kitchen is the "selling" point of a house. If you just can't help yourself, then you would probably have to build countertops using a good quality plywood (A-C or Sandeply), apply a trim board on the edges made from a 1x2 piece of oak, place your pictures and doodads on it and cover it with clear polyurethane. Just so you will know, it would be the last thing I would do to a kitchen. Put your pictures in frames and show them off, because even if you are careful, the poly will show wear in a short time. And you will have lost all your treasures.
