I'm trying to get my new system (Ademco 4110XM) to STOP dialing my cellphone so many times upon alarm! On my old system (FBI XL2T) I was able to program the amount of dial-outs (1 ~ 16). I had it call me twice. Don't see that feature in the installer's manual of the 4110, and the dang thing calls me more than my ex!
Thanks in advance,

The 4110xm doesn't have a pager function, and so will keep calling until it either hits its fixed dial attempt count, which is not changeable, or gets a central station confirmation "kiss off".

Well...inside the cover of the installation manual is an update: "Information concerning new features with microprocesor part number N7185V3 or higher"...
2. Capability has been added for the control to call a pager on the secondary telephone number. This can only be used if the primary reporting format is Ademco Contact ID (which I have mine programmed for).
Touch-tone codes sent to the pager are:
1911= Alarm
1001 = Open
1002 = Close
1811 = Trouble
I'm thinking if I change the dialing delay to 15 sec., that will give me time to turn the alarm off before it dials my cell (I set the alarm for "Instant Away"). I don't mind it calling me when someone is really breaking in to the warehouse...just don't want it to call me 10 times every time I go in. Unfortunately, that 15 sec. delay could give someone knowledgable time to disable the system...

My copy of the manual was from the original version.
In location *49 program a 6, 7, or 8 to set the pager function to work. Do not program a phone number in the primary account location (*41), only in the secondary (*42). It should only attempt to call the pager/phone once (as long as it gets an answer). The reporting format needs to be set as contact ID.
There is still no dialer count control.

That'll work. I'll enter my cellphone as the "pager number".
I'll let you know how it goes.
Many thanks,
D. Ocean
