I'm running windows xp with outlook express 6.0 for email. Last week, for some reason, when I do a "create mail" or a "forward", the window that comes up is not centered on my screen. It is left justified and the "TO" area is not visible. this prevents me from sending emails.

I tried moving the window but it won't go right the way I want it to.

Anyone have any suggestions??

Vinnie

My suggestion is to use something else, anything else, other than Outlook Express. OE is one of Microsoft's worst programs. It's an embarrassment to them. Just about any email client would be a better choice.

Export your address book and export your messages, then import them into whatever you decide to use as your new email client.

I haven't used OE for many years. I tried several programs and settled on Mozilla Thunderbird. ymmv

Put the mouse pointer somewhere on the top of the window, such as right beside the minimize button, hold the left mouse button down and you should be able to drag the window to wherever you want it. When you get it positioned to where you would like it to come up each time, hold down the shift key and click on the red X button to close it. The desired position of the window should now be memorized by windows.
If this doesn't work, maximize the window and you should see the entire window in full screen mode.
