I have a 20P/6160V/6270 and I currently have it mocked up before installing it.
I have it programmed as
Zone 1 9-Fire
Zone 2 1-Entry/Exit 1 (Main Door)
Zone 3 1-Entry/Exit 1 (Inside Garage Door)
Zone 4 23- No Alarm (Garage Panel Door)
Zone 5 10- Interior w/Delay (PIR)
Zone 6 10- Interior w/Delay (PIR)
Zone 7 3-Perimeter (Window)
Zone 8 3-Perimeter (Window)
I have not set up any wireless. I figured that get the hard wired zones the way I want to before I do the wireless.
I activated Chime Mode on the keypad and Voice on the keypad.
When I disarm/Arm I hear the Voice Announcement. When it's Armed and I open a zone I hear the Voice announce for the alarm.
My question is Zone 1 & 2 that are set up as doors when I remove the magnet from the Switch I do not hear any Chime or Voice when alarm is off? Same goes for all zones. The text on the keypad changes but no chime or voice. I figured it would announce when a zone is opened "Fault"
I also do not hear any Chime, what setting am I Missing?
I programmed the panel using the keypad and uploaded the from Panel to PC with out any problems using Compass. I now have a little better understanding of Compass.

The voice announcement is turned on at the keypad itself (see your instructions for the 6160v keypad), and has a specific vocabulary. If you don't use the words in the specific list, the keypad cannot say them.
If you activated the chime mode: (code+9), and chime is showing on the display, then you should be hearing a sound for entry exit, and perimeter type zones, unless you have the keypad set as silent in the system keypad setup.

*26 Chime By Zone List 3
0 = no zone list (chimes on fault of any
entry/exit or perimeter zone when chime
mode on)
1 = use zone list (chimes on fault of
specific zones programmed in relay
zone list 3 when Chime mode on)
I see what you did. I can see where the wording could lead you to turn on that feature.

UPDATE If you add a 2670 Graphic Keypad to your 20P and expect to set CHIME MODE with a 6160v keypad you need to
Press the MORE CHOICES button.
The "More Choices" screen is displayed.
Press the OPERATING MODES
button on the "More Choices" screen.
The "User Authorization" screen is
displayed with the instructions "Enter
Authorized Code".
Enter your “Installer” code. The
"Operating Modes" screen is displayed.
Touch the Chime Mode button to turn
the Chime Mode on or off. A checkmark
appears in the button when the Chime
Mode is “ON”.
Press the “HOME” or “BACK” button after
making your selection. When the 6270
exits the “Operating Modes” screen, your
selection is saved.
If you were unlucky like me and forgot to do this you will go nuts trying to figure out why chime & Voice will not work when you open a Zone.
