We are in the process of renovating our bathroom and want to install an air tub (not a whirlpool/ water jet type). We are not sure if all models are compatible if one wants to use it as a shower/ tub combination. Any thoughts on this?

If the water valve controls are on the body of the tub, you would have to figure a way to divert the water to a shower head. This would not be a normal operation of the tub controls. Now, if your controls are wall mounted, then you are half way home. Install a shower/tub control unit with the shower head and tub spout. The next thing you would have to figure out is shower curtain or doors. Basically, plastic or glass? And would the tub design allow this.
