Hi all,
There is no heat coming out of the unit. The outside pipe is cold and the compressor does not run. I opened the access door to the outside unit and smelled something burnt. Then I took the cover off of the electrical panel and found a round capacitor was very hot. Right under it I found a block for wire connections (three wires) had some kind of fluid on it that smelled burnt. I am thinking to replace them both but I would like to have an opinion and some suggestions as to where to get such parts.
Thank you very much,
Eric.
