I'm installing some Pergo Select in my master bedroom. I've just reached my bathroom doorway and I'm planning for the t-molding. I have the 4-in-one molding from Pergo, but there are absolutley no instructions on the proper installation of the transition moldings.

How much gap should I leave between the end of the laminate and the tile in the bathroom. How is the T-molding attached and kept in place? If the flooring is not exactly level with the tile, should I use a reducer instead?

I've read that you should use transition molding between rooms and doorways. I have a small walk-in closet off the entry to the room at 1 step higher than the room itself. Is it necessary to use transition molding in the closet doorway? I tried to represent the layout below
