 hi! this is my first post here.
I have to build a 28 cm high base for my clothes washer (because my bathroom is tiny and my washer is the smallest there is and still doesn't quite fit) , using common bricks (red ceramic 20x8x6 cm), and I have a number of questions:
1. should I use cement or brick glue? will it hold the weight?
2. will a square one-brick-thick "well" built 28 cm high do to hold the weight, or do I need more thickness?
3. will such a brick base manage to endure the vibrations? Should I add something between washer and bricks?
thank you so much.
