Hi all! I'm a little "creatively challenged" at times...and am looking for some ideas please and thanks.....

I have a jet tub in my basement that has finally been plumbed, leveled, etc...My problem is that when the tub was installed, the apron was not provided (it was installed as a used tub by the previous owners). Rather than spending $150-200 for a new apron, I am trying to figure out a method to make one (ie. best materials to use). I have been beating my head against the wall for quite awhile now! :wall:

Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. It will really depend on the depth of the lip of the framing. An easy method is to buy 3/8" plybead panelling such as you would use for wainscotting. Cut it down and attach it to the framing, here again, leaving an access hole or attach the entire piece with screws so it can be taken down for service. glue 1/4 round to the bottom to dress it up.
