I am in the process of putting up the tile around a new tub. Its a standard tub, with tile walls on 3 sides. Previously there was a ceramic towel bar with plastic bar (didnt look good). My question is can I just use one of the metal bars HD or lowes sells inside the tub area? Or is it preferred to use the ceramic types in there? If I should use the ceramic, I'd rather cut the tile before I put it up. If I can use the metal type, I can just drill holes later and moley bolt it in correct?
I walked through HD and the only type I saw they had was the standard bone colored ceramic ones. I was just going to get a metal one that matched my faucet style but figured someone with more style-sense in here could offer their opinion.. Thanks!!

You will have to do a good job of waterproofing around the screws and escutcheon plates of the metal towel bar or water will find its way back to the studs. Set the mollies in some caulk to take up any voids and shoot some into them before setting the screws
