i am about to start refinishing the floors in an aprtment that has 3/8"red oak flooring 1/2"x3/8".
my qustion is what do you use to make a filler for gaps before sanding the floors? i ve been told to use white glue mixed with sawdust from the floor or to use a mix of floor finish sealer and sawdust?
any recommendations ?
which is better ?what do the pros do?
thanks

How much are you planing on sanding this floor? 3/8 flooring doesn't have much to sand off, IF ANY!!

There are many fillers out there to use. Go to a wood flooring distributor(not a retailer) and pick the one that suits your needs. Woodwise and Timbermate, are industry leaders.

Many report filler in gaps between floor boards pops out due to expansion and contraction of wood.
