I would like to instal a drop ceiling for my basement bathroom. The reason is to have access to the upstairs bathroom and kitchen electrical and plumbing when the time comes to redo them. Any recomendations on products and or things to avoid would be great. Thanks,

John

If you can find stainless steel or plastic tees and cross tees, it may be ok, but the standard steel painted grid systems will rust with all the humidity. I am faced with the same option in a basement bath for a customer. She wants a drop ceiling, and as small as it is, I am trying to talk her into letting me drywall it. The customer is always right, so I may have to do the wrong thing anyway.
