I used to have a Desert Springs disk humidifier. Yesterday it crapped out. After research, I found Aprilaire 600 one of the best. The only problem is a tech has to install it. They dont sell to the public from what Ive learned. This is something I can do myself with easy. Does anyone know where I can buy a Aprilaire 600 or another unit equal.
P.S Thanks Jay for all the help.

You can buy them on line if you want, it's up to you.
To me, the 600 is the same as the Honywell by-pass you can buy at Home Depot. Just a diffrent name on the casing. You might be able to get buy with out buying the kit.

Jay, thanks again. I did find an Aprilaire 600 at a place in Crystal Lake Illinois called FiltersAmerica.com. I will let you know how this new one works.

If this is a heat pump, I'd suggest using hot water.
