I recently installed a laminate floor in my dining room. This room has a sliding glass door in it. I left a 1/4" gap between the fllor and the steel base of the door. I have filled in that gap with silicon to keep the condensation from the floor. Now I want to cover it with quarter round. Any suggestions for attaching it? From what I understand I cannot nail it to the floor, or at least to floor under the laminate, and obviously cannot nail it to the steel base of the slider. Can it be glued at all?
Thanks,
Eric
