Can someone answer a Question? I'm replacing a roof mount downdraft old swamp cooler with a new side discharge bigger cooler (about 2000 sq. ft. to cool)... planning to rebuild the duct into the existing duct ( it's about 12' through the attic space), only from the south side back of the house...building a deck above the back door to put the new cooler onto, to hold the weight...wanted to get the thing off the roof! Will this work? and how big a deck do I need to hold the weight? I've seen them just hanged by chains off the side of buildings.....
