We're going to be remodeling our 1/2 bath and I want to know if it's safe to put laminate flooring in there. I heard it shouldn't be used in potentially "wet" areas. We recently installed laminate flooring in other parts of our home and love it. If it is OK to install it in a half bath should it be run underneath the toilet with the toilet sitting on top of it, or should we place the toilet down first and cut the lamiante around it?

Thanks!

A ½ bath does not have a bath tub or shower, so humidity rise and splashing are not going to be a concern, also it is really small, usually, so if there ever was a plumbing leak, replacement wouldn't cost an arm and leg.
