We have a carport, the kitchen sink is on the carport wall inside the house. I have a leak out of the wall in the carport. This mainly happens when I use the portable dishwasher. However, this is not dishwater, this smells like sewer. We had the septic pumped yesterday and all that did was cost me money. NOw the septic guy is not a plumber, but he seemed to think that the lines need cleaned out. I am praying it is not a broken pipe in the wall. My neighbor agrees with the septic guy. Dh just says, oh so we have a little water. ONe plumber I called actually said the dishwasher needs serviced. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Pull the portable dishwasher out and see if water leaks on the leads for the supply and drain connections. Drain cleaning fixes clogs, not leaks. Leaks are caused by clogs where connections are loose, causing connections to leak that normally do not have pressure against them.
A competent plumber can come in and diagnose the issue at hand. I would not of cleaned the septic tank to resolve a water leaking issue inside the house.
