I cant get the ouside knob off - I see the poke hole but cant find anything to depress

Hi georgegeeg,
Defiant is a strange lock, in that you can remove the knob without a key. Here's how it's done. Look into the hole near the rose plate, then lowley turn the knob. If you don't see the retainer, try turning the other way. It's there, I just can't remember which way to turn. One you fine it, then you can depress the retainer, and pull the knob off.
