I took the starter apart on my B&S about a month back and one of the big magnets has a crack through it and a few tiny peices were floating arount in there. What will this do for the starter? Will it not have as much power? Im having trouble starting it.

Same thing happened to mine. I cleaned everything good with brake cleaner, mixed J-B weld, applied it to back of loose magnet pieces and LIGHTLY clamped them in place 'til epoxy set. Still working fine.
