I'm in the process of looking for a new riding mower and seriously considering the Cub Cadet LT-1042 which has a 19hp Kohler engine. I'm not familiar with Kohler engines and would like to get opinions on this engine and mower please. Thanks.

Kohler is synonomous with commercial-duty and Cub makes good quality equipment. You'll like this machine.

I have a 1962 JD 110 so Im not big into new mowers lol But from what I read Simplicity sound very nice I would look into these also, they even sound better the the cub cadet.

Personally, I like Kohler. They make excellent engines that seem to last forever. I'm not a huge fan of MTD products, but I do like the cub cadets fairly well. I wouldn't mind having one, and think you'll like it if you get one suited to your needs.
