Hi,

We bought a traverse rod for two pinch pleat drapes. The problem is that both drapes slide to only one side: right hand. We want both drapes to slide to the opposite direction. I think it is called center draw. Now our question is can be CONVERT right side or left side pull to a center pull traverse rod. Or do we need to return the traverse rod to the store and start hunting for a center pull traverse rod.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If you did not specifically order a right hand draw, then there should be instructions in the box to convert it to whichever way you want it to go. It should look like THIS (http://www.homespunfabrics.com/images/Restring2.jpg) The two master carriers should be facing each other in the center with the small carriers on either side.

Shadeladie,

Thanks for your response. We just realized that we bought Levolor "right pull" rather than "center pull". Our mistake. We will take it back and see if could get center pull. We got from Home-Depot.
I will stay in touch and update you with our progress.
Thanks once again for clarifying our mistake!

Thanks!
