A good satin or semi-gloss bath paint will be a good investment. I like Sherwin Williams Kitchen & Bath paint.

Zinsser's Perma-White is the most mold/mildew resistant washable paint I've come across
I've used it in many severe problem baths
The eggshell is pretty flat, and that works fine if you want a flat ceiling
The satin and semi if you want a glossier finish
With this stuff it's a personal preference though, they all work great

The only thing is it's only tintable to light colors and pastels
If you need a darker color I'd suggest a Kitchen & Bath form one of the majors
Personally I spec Moore's K & B (Ben Moore), but I have been pleased with the SWP products I've used, and I'm sure the Sherwin Williams Kitchen & Bath is of comparable quality
