I have a kenmore laundry center m#417.99370800. I noticed lately that during the wash cycle the clothes mover I guess it's called does not move with the shaft. Is ther a gear or cam inside this clothes mover that actually turns it with the shaft? I have tried unsucessfully to get it off but I do not have a socket the right size to get it off anyone know what size this is or the type of tool ?
Thanks

Unscrew and remove the cap from the agitator. Now tell
me which one of these looks like the agitator in your washer.

After you unscrew the cap reach down to the bottom and grab each
side and pull straight up and see if it will come out.
